Westernland

This page is about attractions and restaurants in "Westernland".
This area is themed as old western America. Westernland is similar to "Frontierland" in Magic Kingdom and other disney parks.

The most popular attraction in Westernland is "Big Thunder Mountain". This attraction is one of "Three Big Mountains". Very unique attraction "Tom Sawyer Island" is also popular.

About attractions

Big Thunder Mountain

Big Thunder Mountain is one of the most popular and thrilling attraction in the park. This roller coaster is always crowded unless the weater is bad. I recommend to enjoy this attraction at night time, because it's more thrilling than day time. You can use "FASTPASS" at this attraction.

Mark Twain Riverboat

You board a big ship named "Mark Twain". This one is not a thrilling attraction, but many people like this. The view from the ship is nice, so I think this one is especially good for couples.

Tom Sawyer Island Rafts

You board a raft and can visit Tom Sawyer Island which is themed as a novel "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer". At the island, you can explore entire island. This one is mainly for Children.

Country Bear Theater

You can watch a show in a building which is themed as old western America. There will be 18 bears acting on the stage. The shows are different each season(sometimes there is an exception).

Westernland Shootin' Gallery

There is no attraction which you need to pay for playing in the park except here. To play this attraction, you have to pay \200. This attraction is always less crowded than other attractions, (I think) because guests have to pay.

About restaurants

This building is themed as end of 19th century West America. Plaza is pritty near here, so if you want you can enjoy watching parades or shows as having a dinner. An English menu is available here.

The Canteen

You're going to have to take a raft to this restaurant, because that's the only way to get to Tom Sawyer Island. This restaurant, located in Fort Sam Clemens, is the only place to eat on the island. Why not take a break from your explorations with a snack or a shake. An English menu is available here.

Lucky Nugget Cafe

After this man hit the Gold Rush jackpot and found a huge nugget of gold in Big Thunder Mountain, he opened up this restaurant at the foot of that lucky old mountain.

He serves up hearty meals of fried chicken, smoked turkey legs and more for hungry miners and pioneers. Chow down! An English menu is available here.
